Great value.

I have lost count of how many of these Moultrie game cameras I have purchased from VMI.  They are a great value for the price, take good quality picutes and are durable enough to last for many seasons in hostile Texas conditions.  VMI had the best prices on multi-camera buys and shipped them very fast with free shipping.

Would I recommend this to a friend or family member? Yes
Pros
  • Easy to Use
  • Simple to Set Up
  • Sturdy

Disappointed
They are great little cameras, but the flash does not reach the advertised range and leaves you guessing at what ever triggered the camera at night. I assume the Moultrie Flash extender would solve this problem, but for what it costs, it would be just as easy to buy a camera that does produce great nighttime shots. Also, I did not realize that they could not be locked with small locks and required a cable lock which on average costs around $20-$25. Wish you all offered everything in one package because you could probably buy them at a reduced costs to pass on to the customer. Its okay though cause I am still going to use them. Just have to shift my other equipment around and buy some more cable locks because my neighbors are a bunch little thieves. I basically use them for security around the ranch watching points of entry, keeping track of my hunters and contractors, and a few watching game feeders to see what shows up. Their color works really well helping them to blend into the scenery and quality are what keeps me using Moultrie products. Have tried others and been very disappointed.

Pros
  • Easy to Use
  • Safe
  • Simple to Set Up
  • Looks Good
  • Sturdy
  • Quality Construction
  • Super simple to set up. Package deal makes it extremely easy. No trips to walmart for batteries or sd cards.
  • And prices are great - very competetive is not less expensive. Great job guys!
Cons
  • Poor Quality
  • Daytime pics and videos are great but night shots awful. Flash does not have the range advertised. I use them for security at my ranch and could not catch poachers or much else with these after dark.
  • Only other thing is you cannot lock these units with padlock, you have to purchase the cable locks to keep them securely attached to tree or whatever. More expense. Wish VM offered these along with package.
