Ordered this as a "Santa" present. Ordered another one from Walmart. The one from Walmart was made in 2016 and works awesome! The one we ordered from VM innovations was made in 2014. It didn't go as fast as the other one and battery only lasted 5-10 minutes. Also had a rear rotor issue. We also contacted Razor and they told us that the battery was expired.
We exchanged it and the new one we received was exactly the same. I will say the return process was fairly easy but what a pain. Not to mention that I have one son who is ripping around on his awesome bike, and another son who is still without his big Christmas present as of January 6th
Dissapointing to say the least.
If you do go ahead with the purchase make sure you check the manufacturing date which is on the battery transfer case.
- Poor Quality
Item is well construted a blast to ride. Bought this for my 9 year old and almost wish I would have gone with the next model up. Top speed seems good but bike size is a little smaller than I thought it would be once he got on it. Overall very satisified with the purchase but just know that we will be upgrading next year already.
