Not bad for the price

I bought this radio from VMinovations after the NAXA radio died one hour into a 14 day vacation.  What really sucked was that I was forced to pay return shipping for their failed product.  Back to the Jensen HD radio.  I like the way it looks and buttons are somewhat intuitive.  Bad thing is they are not easy to see in bright light.  The removable face has to be slammed into place for it to catch.  The AM noise suppression was very much better in the NAXA.  I am not sold on HD.  I cannot tell the difference when it switches from analog to digital.  Maybe you can.  I though it would be a much starker contrast.  If you are looking for HD AM check your local stations. There is only one in the Orlando market and I don't listen to it.  I only drive about 1 to 2 thousand miles a year in this vehicle but if I drove it every day I might have returned it too.  I may have been too generous with the stars.  The last point is that I have to give VMinnovations a star in one area.  The sent out my replacement radio immediately and did not wait for the return of the broken one.  That part was good customer service.  Paying for shipping on a failed item less than two weeks after purchase is bad form though.

Would I recommend this to a friend or family member? Yes
