quality pack

I ordered a larger pack but was shipped this one by accident. This pack looks great and has quality construction. I am 6'3 and the pack is a little to small for me. On a short trip it most likely would not bother me however longer trips would be uncomfortable due to the fit. The air pocket behind your back is a nice feature. I also liked the hydration sleeve inside the main pocket. The side pockets are large enough for my hammock or a large water bottle. I would note that although 40l is large enough to do over nighters in, this pack is not meant for cold weather overnighters. The frame work that creates the air pocket behind your back eats into precious compartment space. I barely got my 20* NF Cats Meow into the bottom of the bag. I even cinched down my compression straps all the way on my sleeping bag and unbuckled the compression straps on the pack. Although it went down there i am not sure it will come back out without tearing something. However my 40* marmot bag fits nicely in the bottom with room for my tent to go in beside it.

Would I recommend this to a friend or family member? Yes
