catches theives-cops like the dvd's

Requires knowledge of windows vista to be properly controlled. Not much worse than a typical desktop computer system to set up. Remote access viewing requires someone to set your networking and router information, the same as all other remote access systems. Don't use windows update with this system, the updates make it slow and crash. Just update the netrome software once you connect to the internet. If you don't have internet, you will need to activate windows somewhere else or by phone to microsoft. I usually slow down the frame capture rate, you don't need the movie quality video, just 2-3 frames a second is enough, and easier on hard drive capacity and network too. makes good qualit self-playing dvd's for police, good enough for a conviction. You can also attach a printer too. Pictures of the local local shoplifters scare the others when posted in store. If you need video only at night, It doubles as a windows desktop computer too, for basic web surfing. Other "all in one" systems don't even have a dvd drive!! overall pretty good unit. Own two of them, service two more for others.

Would I recommend this to a friend or family member? Yes
