fragile construction, ball needle useless

The general construction of this pump is low quality, especially compared to a "Pocket Rocket"  that I bought a few years ago.

The only good thing about this Schwinn branded pump is that it has the same kind of dual-fit for both Schrader and for Presta type cycle tyre valves.

The pump shaft is weak, the piston binds in the cylinder at full extension, and the "ergonomic" handle is neither comfortable nor strong.

There is a needle for inflating balls, which rotates out of the pump head. When rotated, air *should* be directed from the cylinder to the needle, rather than to the main cycle valve connection. I bought two of these pumps, and this valve for the needle works on *neither* pump consistently. It seems to work about once in every twenty attempts. Bad design.

Would I recommend this to a friend or family member? No
