Keep Looking
This thing was bad from the beginning. I know it was a refurbished one but didn't know it would show up with a bad zipper on one of the openings. Which I didn't find out until I had it set up in the field, that's what I get for waiting until the last moment. They did give me 10% off because of it. Tried to stake it down for wind and one of the loops pulled off. Which later when I got a little breeze three more popped right off. The long tie downs kept it in place so that was good. Another con is that the mesh is on the inside of the blind and the blackout zipper panels are on the outside which makes it hard to use when you are trying to be sneaky and have to try and adjust the blackout zippered section from underneath the mesh. The big shoot through openings that open up and need safety pins if you want to keep it cracked and not open enough for the animals to see in. I did like that it had a lot of windows but the design should be a little more friendly for being sneaky or concealment. I was using it for an antelope hunt and they have the best eyes out there. So any movement can blow an opportunity. The blackout paint on the inside was coming off pretty fast for being a "new" blind. The signs of wear for only being out in the field for a couple weeks was unimpressive. I will say that the size of this blind is so nice and probably the best part about it. I had another guy with me who has been hunting out of blinds for 25 years and he thought the size was great and he is not a small guy! I'd like to see Barronett do a little more R&D next time and I bet they could incorporate some of the better features of the other guys and still keep the costs way down. The pricing was a big selling point on this for me, so maybe you get what you pay for as they say. But I believe they can offer a great blind at a great price. Thanks
