Zappy Automatic Above-Ground Pool Vacuum Cleaner | K751CBX

excellent purchase.  Price was right and equipment works great.  I have an above the ground pool and the Zappy Pool Cleaner works great and is easy to use.  Very pleased with product and would recommend to others.

Worked better than I thought.   Seems like most have a problem with the vacuum moving around on its own.  Once the vaccum is on, if you will tap your palm over the opening in the vacuum, it will start to click and that is what moves it around the pool.  I took the nylon bag out of the vacuum because it feels up fast.  You will have to stop it every few minutes to unclog.  Instead, go the to the dollar store and buy a box of cheap nylon knee high panty hose.  I put one over the skimmer basket, works much better.  Only problem I have, is the hoses don't last very long, one summer and they start to split.  I can't find any replacements so far.  That would help.

Bought it, put it together as pre instructions, put in pool and watched and waited...nothing, wouldn't work worth a darn. Thought I may need some extra hoses as pool was pretty big. Called customer service and found out they didn't have  or sell hoses, so I junked it.   DON'T BUY THIS PIECE OF CR*P.

I wanted an easy automatic pool cleaner for my 15 Ft Intex pool.  I had already installed a wide mouth skimmer w/ 1HP sand filter system and Salt water filter.

This was easy to put together, maybe 15 minutes, I did have to change the set up of one of the hoses because of the skimmer. I turned the pump on and away it went! I live in San Diego so the pool is used 7 to 10 months a year.

FIRST HOSE DOES NOT FIT WITH THE EXISTING POOL. BUT I USED ELECTRICAL TAPE TO RIG IT. THE CONNECTING HOSE FLOATS AND WHEN I FINALLY GOT THE PUMP TO WORK, THE AIR WOULD SEEP IN BETWEEN HOSE CONNECTIONS AND PUMP WILL STALL. FINALLY I CONNECTED WITH ONE HOSE TO PREVENT SEEPAGE AND IT DOES NOT MOVE. IT ONLY SUCK WATER AND STAYS IN THE MIDDLE.

I PLAN TO SEEK MONEY BACK.

it does suck up debris but you have to move the vacum manually it does not move on its own.

This pool cleaner works well at sucking up sand and small debri but it does not move on its own at all.  I have to get in the pool and push it along the entire pool everytime I use it. So it ended up being much more time consuming than I had anticipated.
