Safety 1st Alpha Omega Convertible Car Seat

This car seat is working alright so far; I think it is probably best as a forward facing seat but our little guy is still rear-facing now and so it doesn't fit as well as I'd like in our 2007 Toyota Matrix.  To really put it in right, the front seat has to be up almost all the way making for a crowded fit.  But, then, one of us is often in the back seat with him on long trips anyway....I'm excited for when he can be forward facing and more a part of the road trip fun.  It is easy enough to use but as with most rear-facing seats I've used/tried/seen in friends' cars, it never seems as secure as I think it should.  I couldn't possibly tighten the strap any more but it is still looser than I'd like.  It definitely seems more comfy for him than our old one though.  VERY HAPPY with VMInnovations' fast delivery and low price:)

This is a great car seat! I feel that my son is very safe in it. It is very sturdy. I have a small two door car with a limited back seat. I also have a spouse and two other children. This car seat fits in the middle of the back seat and two children still fit on the side. It's also easy to adjust as he grows or when he has bulkier clothes on, etc. I highly recommend this car seat.

The Safety 1st Alpha Omega convertible Car seat is a nice car seat for the price.  The car seat is designed well and is easy to install.  We have an older can and I was worried that it wouldn't fit in the car properly. It fit in there just fine. The straps were easy to adjust.

This is an extremely well made item the price is great $30-40 cheaper than most retail stores. It would be difficult for a newborn baby to keep its head back from rolling forward. great for 6 months and older children.

This is a great carseat. My daughter looks so comfortable on it. Easy to clean, the whole cover can be put in the washer and dryer. It has all the support a child needs to a fraction of the price compared to other brand name carseat.  Since it's a 3-1 convertible car seat, your child can use this from newborn to toddler. I'm very pleased this item. I would purchase it again if I need another one.

I bought this same carseat for my daughter last year and we love it, so we just bought this one for our son. You'll probably want an infant seat for the first couple of months because this one is meant to stay in the car but thats not a big deal. This seat is very study, the price is awesome, the straps are super easy to adjust by just pulling a strap rather than messing around the back of the seat. I never used this as a rear facing seat but you can. I really love this seat, can't say enough great things!

I have a similar car seat for my daughter who is 3yo, and I love it.  I purchased this one for my son who is 8mo.  This is their daily use seat and I love the fact that the car seat can be used throughout their growing phases.  It works from rear facing, to forward facing, through the booster phase.  I also liked the comfortable design, sturdy construction and ease of installation for this seat. 

The only downfall of using these seats is that they can be bulky, and when set up rear facing the passenger seat is almost unusable in my Jeep.  But for the few months until I can switch to forward facing it is worth the hassle!

The Alpha Omega is one of the top of the line safety seats at a reasonable price. I have purchased one for each of my boys because i know they are safe in it. I love the versatility and quality. I just wish it were not so bulky, but maybe thats part of what makes it so safe. Fits great in our dodge pickup but not so much in our little volvo.

First, I got this car seat on an awesome deal. Also, the shipping was SUPER fast (I ordered it on a Sunday and upcoming Tuesday it was waiting for me on my porch). I have yet to use the car seat since my baby has yet to be born but so far with the normal testing, and having a nephew sit in it, the seat seems to be a good buy. One thing of caution, remember that this car seat is made to be semi-perminent in your car. As in once you place the car seat in its place it is meant to stay there. This might be a problem with a fusy infant baby because I could imagine that once an infant baby falls asleep you might not want to wake him up. With this car seat you would have no choice because in order to get the baby out the car you have to get him out the car seat. I might buy a snap in place car seat for infancy because with those you can release the seat from the base and carry the seat around with the baby inside, thus allowing the baby to continue sleeping. When going back to the car one would simply have to snap the seat back onto the straped down base thus possibly avoiding a baby meltdown of suddenly being awaken. Never the less this seat seems to be worth it.

Have installed car seat for my grandchild, but haven't used yet (they live out of state).  Was a little tricky to figure out how to run the straps that clip to the anchor rings in my car.  There should be an easier design for ALL carseats.  Nonetheless, this seat appears to be well made and seems safe.  Pleased with this purchase.
