Hifonics Brutus BRZ1700.1D Class D Mono Amplifier

i put this amp on a pair of kicker 12's and with the bass boost button i can getbass for me that shakes my whole truck or just turn it down and be normal this amp is way under priced!!!! and this m first review ever but just had to write to say great buy!!!!!!!

These amps are beasts! I have two of them hooked up to four kicker l7 12s and they hit soooo hard. It's insane. I love the look and design of the amps. The logo lights up blue and looks awesome at night. I would definitley but these again.

have this in my girlfriends car and she loves it, pushing two 12" Alpine Type Rs it gives them everything they could ask for. Only wish it did better with impedance rise but that is a problem most any amp will have, so its not a huge deal.

i have the 2100 in my truck right now it is one of the best amps at this pricepoint on the market and id be willing to bet anyother ones in the brz line up are just as good. these amps can take one hell of a beating and keep on truckin. Is there better stuff out there yes but nothing else in the price range comes close imho

this thing will drive anything at rated power!!! have friends that run this @.5 ohms and has been clamped at 1975watts @.5 oms just keep it cool and have good electrical to back it

the amp powers two kicker cvx 12's easliy that max out at 3000 watts rms and 6000 watts peak and thats bad ass for this 1700 watt rms amplifier dont buy kicker for so much more when you get so much of equal quality and save money with this hifonics.

I'm running for now a single  Rockford Fosgate T1d212 @4ohms 600watts.  I used to have a kenwood kac-7204 (500watts @4ohm), I noticed a drop of loudness when i moved to the Brutus, but my main goal is to run 2 T1d212 @ 2 ohms which my Kenwood cannto do and for the price the kenwood 9105d only puts out 900watts.  so i went with this brutus.  Im still happy with the brutus for the price and i like the fact that i can go all the way to 1 ohm @1700 watts.  the blue hifonics light is very cool at night it glows really nice.  the edges are very sharp so you need to be careful shipping from vminnovations was awesome received it after a day!! on free shipping, i will be buying my other T1d212 here and will update my post after i set up 2 T1d212

I own this for over a month now, running 1 sub Rockford T1 at 4ohm, the amp is running it well.  I used to run KAC 7204 on this sub which is 500w @ 4ohm, I think the Kenwood is better on 4ohm, but i bought this for the 2 ohm and 1ohm load.  Hopefully it will be louder when i get 2 Sub running and run it on 2ohm or 1 ohm.  i will update my post when i run this beast down to 2 or 1 ohm load.  The Brutus looks very beastley and cool with the lighted Hifonics, the only gripe i have is the sharp edges (black portion) and the angled down speaker terminal so its kinda hard to get to it when you have it on tight places.  other than that i love this sub, and being CEA compliant makes me feel better
