I used the blower to clean the church yard that i maintain. In the middle of cleaning the blower stop working.

Decent Blower For The Homeowner

I got one of these for a vacation home. There are lots of trees, and thus, pine needles and leaves. Had been using elect blower, but the driveway is over 200' long, so the cords were a PITA. I got this unit via using reward points on a Visa card. Uses soley as a blower at the vac house.<br />I was still using an elect unit at home, but again, the cords became a PITA. I saw this unit on sale for $85 at the OSH store nearby (owned by Sears). Then, the upcoming wkend, they had a $20off/$75 purchace promo going. So, it basically cost $65+ tx. This unit seems to start rather easily, even after sitting for 3 mos. I did finally try the vacuum option once. The bag is kindsa cumbersome, and tends to gt twisted. And the blower will want to ingest stones, walnuts, acotns etc. Since the impeller is plastic, this isnt good for the unit. No way the plastic impeller can reduce these hard items, so I have retired it as a vacuum. And it comes with a little cone like attachment for the end of the blower tube. When I use this, it seems to want to vibrate off, along with one of the extensions. Im sure this could could easily be rectified w/duct tape, but it works perhaps even better with out that tip. All in all, I am extremely satisfied with this unit. Seems to go about an hr on a tank full.

Good blower, great value

I have this blower and I think its a great value for the good quality work it does. Pretty easy to start, blows nicely. The motor revs a bit funny (up and down) and it seems that it should run at the higher rpm, but usually settles down to a lower rpm. This still provies enough power to blow leaves and even dry snow. I would recommend this to any one wanting the convinience of a gas blower.

Dual Functionality is not true completely

I purchased this product as a black friday special through another deal hunting website. It was the first time I would own my very own leaf blower and I was excited! :) Until it came in...

When it came in, I set it up and read the instructions. They were pretty easy to follow. The contruction of the product was pretty easy. The blower was not as powerful as it had claimed on the website not as heavy duty. The first five minutes of using the vacuum feature and it shut itself off. I have yet been able to restart this machine and I have tried to clean it all the way out and start from scratch. More than a little disappointed that I now have a broken leaf blower and another half of my yard covered in leaves.
