Poulan Pro Gas-Powered Leaf Blower/Vacuum | BVM200VS

reconditioned product, and has worked as expected after several months of use

I used the blower to clean the church yard that i maintain.  In the middle of cleaning the blower stop working.

I purchased this product as a black friday special through another deal hunting website.  It was the first time I would own my very own leaf blower and I was excited! :)  Until it came in...

When it came in, I set it up and read the instructions.  They were pretty easy to follow.  The contruction of the product was pretty easy.  The blower was not as powerful as it had claimed on the website not as heavy duty.  The first five minutes of using the vacuum feature and it shut itself off.  I have yet been able to restart this machine and I have tried to clean it all the way out and start from scratch.  More than a little disappointed that I now have a broken leaf blower and another half of my yard covered in leaves.

I vac and mulch leafs, then dump them in an empty cart and vac them up again, this "double mulch" makes a great additive for my dirt pile that I use everywhere outside, lawn, garden, compost pile, etc.

I have this blower and I think its a great value for the good quality work it does. Pretty easy to start, blows nicely. The motor revs a bit funny (up and down) and it seems that it should run at the higher rpm, but usually settles down to a lower rpm. This still provies enough power to blow leaves and even dry snow. I would recommend this to any one wanting the convinience of a gas blower.

Item didn't work. VMInnovations sent email stating there was a 90 day warranty for refurbished products and they will "take care of ANY issues FREE of cost". I took it to a local shop, they called Poulan for assistance and found out Poulan only provides 30 day warranty. Now I have a $53 invoice from the local shop. VMInnovations did send me another refurbished item and $25. I still have a $28 bill at the local shop and the original blower that doesn't work because that cost of repair is an additional $109. VMInnovations warranty was false and they didn't stand behind the "take care of ANY issues FREE of cost" like what was mentioned in the email.

I have purchased and referred others to purchase from VMInnovations. I'm glad VMInnovations didn't stand behind their word with me instead of those I referred.

I ordered this blower from this company. I received it in the mail and left it in the garage in the box until spring came. I opened it up for the first time, poured gas in it and was excited about using it. The very first pull the string came all the way out. I mean the first pull.

This company wouldnt replace unless i paid full shipping so i ate the money.

I will never in my life buy from these guys or a poulan product again

I only use the blower part: it works well. The company is very good to buy from. All companies are ok to deal with as long as there is not a problem. VMInnovations works with you when there is a problem, that makes them a GREAT company to buy from. They work with you with the same or maybe increased response when there is a problem. I was very impresed when I had a problem, I was expecting a fight thru several layers of red tape. NO red tape first person took care of everything, a no cost to me a RMA for the problem unit and as soon as they received unit a replacement sent right out & it works as expected. Any time that a company works wiht a problem just like a  sell that is the company to deal with. If you need a blower it is a very good buy.

Look for a different blower, this thing is a piece of junk! After (1) month of service the blower would not start, contacted the customer service (joke!) center and was placed on a wild goose chase! No returned calls, no help and I finally placed the blower in the trash!

I was very impressed,fueled it up and it worked great!!!

Needed a new blower/vac after the Craftsman quit. It came complete with blower, tubes, vac bag and even oil. Thing looked brand new. I mainly use it to suck up fall leaves and it works well.

The only thing I could think that would improve it would be to add a strap to it. This product is nice and lite as well as easy to start.

Best blower I have ever used.  Plenty of blowing power to do big jobs.   Only negative is the end cap for the end of the blower tube.  It does nothing to help, but that is no problem. Just do not use it.   Cranks easy, first time, every time.  Would buy this item again.

I was so impressed with the chainsaw I purchase recently, that I ordered the Poulan Pro BVM200VS Blower/ mulcher. The unit arrived on a Saturday (Ordered on a Thursday, good job VM & Fedex!). Some minor blimishes, but looked like it had had little use. Started with little effort and idled without any problems. Runs good at full power. Exceeded expectations.

We sell parts and do repairs, always looking for basic units to sell if a customer has a beyond repair unit.  THis unit at $52 was a good item to fill our needs.   Should have bought several.

I use the product for general yard work.

Not too heavy. Looks like it will do a good job.

Runs rough, like it needs a tuneup. Burning smell when I turned it off. Great price!

For the price, it is fine. Take the nose cone off and it blows fine, but it takes too long to warm up and get to full blowing speed, and its difficult to restart.

When considering the options for blowers, I looked at gas blowers as something that would require a lot of maintenance. Boy was I wrong! It could not be easier to setup the blower and get a mix of gas and oil to get this started. My property has land all around and the convenience of being able to carry to blower around helps a lot. Also, its power helps in cleaning dirts from concrete and leaves on lawn alike. Saves me hours of work in getting my property tidied up.

The only maintenance to remember is to drain all the fuel out of this blower in winter which will prevent corrosion inside the cylinders. I would recommend the blower to anyone looking to cleanup with minimum of effort.

Ordered this on a Wednesday and it arrived on Thursday.

Leaf blower started on the first pull.  Looks brand new, even though it was "refurbished".

I use it almost every day  I blow out the trk bed and too blow out dust dirt in my shop area

The unit works well if you start it based on the instructions.   Prime 6x, pull 3x on full, pull 3x on half, wait for it to warm up and then put it on Run.   Works great, BUT when it's warm and you turn it off, OH MY it's hard to start.   Other than that, it works great and it was a steal of a deal. 

this machine is hard to start when cold.once it cranks my grandkids are able to start it with no problem and the blower is a toy to them  a baby-sitter for me.
