We recently purchased this tent for a camping trip to the lake. My husband and his cousin set it up, and it went up pretty quicky. We are a family of 5, with a 5 1/2 year old, 4 year old, and almost 1 year old. I wanted plenty of space for us and all of our stuff. I compared several tents and looked at the reviews and pictures. I didn't see many of the inside of this tent, but I liked the reviews so decided to buy it. I am very happy with the purchase. The size is great! I know it's for 10 people, so I was sure it would fit my family of 5, however, we don't lay like sardines on the floor. We were able to fit 2 queen size air beds, the playpen for the baby, and all of our luggage. Believe me, we had a LOT! I also brought an indoor/outdoor carpet. There was plenty of space and the height is great too. Like everyone else said, the clip that holds the fan SUCKS! I told my husband of all the complaints of that breaking, and he was so gentle and it broke right away. With Coleman, I would think they would have made something more sturdy, but whatever. We rigged it up with a bungie cord and some rope. I like the light and the fan, and the light switch too. The door was large enough for us to bring the play pen in and out for the baby to be outside the tent to play during the day. It has windows to open for more air flow. Great tent overall and I would definitely recommend to purchase it. It is heavy so like others said, not for hiking unless you like to carry a 54 lb. beast! We pretty much park and set up so it was not a problem.
Everything is good. I love space room. The tent is good design and stay by wind but there are leaks from corners and rainfly of seams.
This is an initial review that have a follow up next week. We just received our Coleman Canyon Breeze 10 person tent yesterday and decided to have a practice set up in the yard before departing this weekend for the first camping trip of the year. As stated in the description, it is color coded and that aids in the speed of set up. My wife and I set it up in 18 minutes (being careful to ensure each step was correct ) so I can only imgine that the set up time will be around 13 - 15 minutes in the near future. No problems with any missing parts, no problems with incorrectly colored poles and the hubs seem as sturdy as any I have dealt with on past tents. We carry a collection of beefy stakes from years past and I would suggest you get some for the anchoring of the tent ( supplied stakes will be good for the fly anchoring ). Many great features of this tent are not highlighted in most of the reviews ( continuous sleeves, the durability of the flooring, the wheeled duffle carry case and of course the 2 year warranty- you get a second year if you purchase it from vminnovations). I wish they sold a floor saver specifically for this model tent, but a request to the Coleman site came unanswered - so we continue on with the tarp. The flooring is made up of a very similar material as the tarp we bought 9 years ago ( a $50 tarp that appears to be made up of material from NASA, as we have not been able to destroy it ) which if true, makes me have high hopes for this flooring. So, everything has gone well thus far. I will write a follow up review upon our return. Rain and wind is pojected for 2 of the 4 days - so it will be a full review.
